About

The Chair & The Host

Why The Chair Exists

The Chair was created to hold space for the conversations we don’t usually hear.
Not the polished versions of success, but the moments that changed everything. The ones that challenge how we see ourselves, our lives, and what really matters.

This is a place for people to speak honestly, without pressure to perform or impress. Just real conversations, with real depth.

Meet Jide

Jide Ladipo-Ajayi is the host of The Chair.

His work is rooted in creating space for real conversations. The kind that go beyond surface-level success and into the moments that actually shape who we become.
The idea for The Chair didn’t come from a content strategy. It came from experience. From navigating a life-altering moment that forced a deeper reflection on control, identity, and what truly matters.
While still in recovery from brain surgery, Jide began building The Chair as a platform for others to share their stories. Not perfectly, but honestly. His role is simple. To listen, to ask the right questions, and to create an environment where people feel safe enough to tell the truth.
